Kira Sharkey, 2nd Dan (Recommended) Assistant Instructor.

Ms. Sharkey began training at LRTKD at age 19. Her training was interrupted in 2004 and 2005 when she was deployed to Iraq. Ms. Sharkey is active duty Arkansas Army National Guard. She is a role model to all of the students at LRTKD for her dedication to the martial arts and her country. An exceptionally talented competitor, Ms. Sharkey is 2005 USTF National Sparring and Power Board Breaking National Champion, 2006 USTF National Sparring, Patterns and Power Board Breaking National Champion, and 2006 International Champion Sparring, Patterns, and Women Team Patterns.
